One of the things I enjoy most about my work promoting evidence-based investing is the camaraderie of like-minded people around the world. World unite.
This is a global battle we’re fighting, to teach people, wherever they live and however little they have to save, a way of investing that lets them keep more of their hard-earned returns for themselves. It has been very heartening to receive messages of appreciation and support from people who’ve seen my work on sites like Sensible Investing TV, the Evidence-Based Investing Center and IFA.com in the US, FWB.tv in Canada and Smart Investor TV in Australia.
Of all my fellow evidence-based communicators overseas, however, none has been more supportive than Wendy Cook in Eugene, Oregon. Wendy is an excellent writer and the content she produces has been a great help to fiduciary advisers and wealth management firms across North America.
I recently gave Wendy an interview for her blog in which we touched on some really interesting questions. Among them, Why are investors in Britain so much less aware than those in the US of the value of low-cost, long-term, broadly diversified investing?
